The owner of Galeria Ltd. in Yorktown had a son, Kenneth Hightower, who was a big supporter of domestic violence prevention and of Transitions. When he passed two years ago, all of his memorial gifts came to Transitions.   In honor of his memory, and to raise money for our programs, Galeria Ltd. is having a GIRLS NIGHT OUT fundraiser.

Transitions is the sole beneficiary of this fundraiser and it would be helpful if you could help promote it within your contacts, friends, colleagues, faith community, etc.

Breakfast of Champions – Celebrating Transitions’ Impact in the Community

Transitions is celebrating over 30 years of service to the community by holding a Breakfast of Champions on Thursday, September 25, 2008 at the Hampton Holiday Inn on Mercury Blvd from 8 – 9 AM. The Breakfast is a one-hour free event designed to raise funds for the agency as well as to educate current and future supporters about the agency and our unique programs. Guests will enjoy a free breakfast and a program focusing on our past successes and future plans. RSVPs required – please call (757) 728-0025.

Table sponsorships begin at $1000. Transitions is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization, and financial sponsorships are tax deductible, and tax receipts will be provided. Table Sponsors have the opportunity to name their table – they can name it for their company or civic group, or in memory/honor of a loved one.

In addition, they will receive:

  • Sponsor signage and recognition at the event
  • Full page advertisement in the Souvenir Book
  • Recognition on our web site
  • Sponsor recognition in Transitions’ annual report and newsletters

We would also like to invite Table Sponsors to provide marketing materials at the event if desired, to briefly share with our guests your commitment to end family violence in the community.

Please call Julia Campbell at (757) 728-0025 or email jcampbell@transitionsfvs.org for more information on this opportunity or to RSVP for the Breakfast.

Thank you to the Transitions’ 2008 Breakfast of Champions Sponsors!
